The purpose of the Preferred Online Vendor Program is to provide our customers who prefer to shop online with convenient access to a list of qualified vendors. The qualifications for becoming a Preferred Online Vendor are determined solely by the Ridge Tool Company Ecommerce department.

1. Vendor must be a distributor of the Ridge Tool Company in good standing.
2. Vendor's website must meet acceptable levels of professional appearance and function as determined by the Ridge Tool Company Ecommerce department.
3. Vendor must offer enough of the RIDGIDŽ product line for online sale to meet a reasonable expectation that the customer will be able to buy the item they are seeking.
4. Vendor will identify RIDGID products in a way that will allow customers to identify them as belonging to the RIDGID family of products. Use of the RIDGID catalog number is preferred.
5. Vendor will provide a RIDGID branded entry point to customers entering their website from the RIDGID website. The URL of this page will be used as the link from the RIDGID site.
6. Vendor's website will have a search engine or alternative means for customers to locate RIDGID products. In some cases, item (4) may meet this qualification.
7. Vendor will provide the Ridge Tool Company with a logo or small banner to be used as a linking image to the entry point URL.

In addition to all other Ridge Tool Company program requirements, Ridge Tool Company will not sponsor or pay for, in any media, advertisement of final customer sale prices that are less then 12% off of the current MSRP (aka List Price).
This policy includes, but is not limited to marketing material whose preparation is sponsored by Ridge Tool Company, marketing material prepared by Ridge Tool Company personnel, or any online presence affiliated with or linked to the RIDGID.com web site.

Vendor websites that satisfy the qualifications will be linked to directly from the RIDGID website, and will be listed as RIDGID Preferred Online Vendors. They will receive priority support in the form of access to new clip art and other content as it is available. They may also be eligible for new web-based vendor initiatives as they are developed.
